Neighborhood Favorite

A corner of Miami that still smells like Sunday morning.

Cafecito sits on SW 5th Ave in the heart of downtown Miami, and we've been opening our ovens at dawn ever since day one. We're not a chain. We're not trying to be. We're a small bakery that believes the best pastries come from patience, good ingredients, and a little bit of stubbornness about quality.

Everything we bake is made in-house, each morning, using recipes that have been passed down through generations. Our croissants are laminated by hand. Our empanadas are folded the way your abuela would approve. And our coffee? It's strong enough to wake up the whole block.

Made from scratch daily
Family-owned and community-focused
Real ingredients, no shortcuts

From the oven to your hands — that's the whole process.

We keep it simple: great food, made well, served with a smile.

Pan Dulce & Pastries

Croissants, conchas, tejas, y más — all baked fresh every morning. Our Cuban pastries are the kind that make you pull over on the way home.

Cuban Coffee

Strong, sweet, and poured with intention. Our cafecito is made the traditional way — and it's the reason people stop by twice a day.

Pantry & Groceries

Imported Cuban goods, coffee beans, spices, and pantry staples you won't find at the big box store. The kind of things that make your kitchen feel like home.

Built on a belief that good food shouldn't be complicated.

Cafecito started with a simple idea: bring the flavors of a Cuban kitchen to a neighborhood that deserves them. Not the tourist version. The real one — the one where the baker knows your name and your order before you walk in the door.

We opened our doors on SW 5th Ave with a small team, a few ovens, and a lot of conviction. Every pastry on our shelves is made by hand, every morning, using recipes that have been in our family for generations. We source local butter, import our coffee beans, and refuse to cut corners because we know the difference.

Today, we're proud to be part of this community. The regulars who come in for their morning cafecito. The families who pick up pastries for Sunday dinner. The folks who drive from across town because they heard about us. That's the reward. That's the point.

Our customers keep coming back. Here's why.

"The croissants here are the best I've had outside of Cuba. I stop by every morning before work — the staff remembers my order and it makes the whole day better."

Maria G. Miami, FL

"I moved to Miami five years ago and this is the first place that actually tastes like home. The pastelitos de guayaba are incredible, and the coffee is exactly what I was missing."

Roberto L. Coral Gables, FL

"Brought my kids here for the first time last weekend and they're already asking to come back. The team is so warm and welcoming — it feels like a real community spot, not just another bakery."

Angela T. Brickell, FL

We're right here on SW 5th. Come say hello.

We're open six days a week, baking from early morning until we sell out. Stop by for a coffee, grab a box of pastries for the family, or pick up some pantry staples for the week.
